Jail Release and Custody

Ask the Mason County Sheriff's Office whether a person is physically present. If not, request the actual departure time, release type, destination, receiving agency, and booking or cause number. No public release-window feed, jail records hours, or jail-specific fees were published.

Mason County Court Records

The County Clerk handles county criminal pleadings. The District Clerk handles felony and district pleadings. Ask for a specific judgment, order, bond record, sentence, jail-credit entry, probation order, revocation, or discharge. A monthly docket is a calendar, not proof of final disposition.

JP and County Matters

Justice of the Peace records cover JP and Class C matters, not a jail release archive. County Attorney questions should go to that office when its role applies to the case.

Texas Prison and Parole

TDCJ general locator staff can address state custody information. The Board line handles pre-vote parole status, while release processing handles questions after a favorable vote. A favorable vote is not proof of physical release.

Mason Probation Contact

Court-ordered probation for Mason is administered through the multi-county community supervision department. Probation is distinct from TDCJ parole.
